Robert is originally from New York City, New York. For the past nine years he has been residing in St George, Utah. 

Robert literally painted his way through college on art scholarships: he received his first art scholarship at the age of fourteen to study advertising design at the Pratt Institute of Technology in Brooklyn New York. 

His paintings and sculptures have appeared in Madison Avenue galleries in New York City as well as a group show at the New York Museum of Modern Art. 

Robert was a photojournalist with work appearing in several music oriented magazines.  

He has worked as an interior designer specializing in nightclubs including lighting and sound system design, in New York City examples of which would be “The Reggae Lounge”, “Berlin”, “The Island Club”, “King Tut’s Wa Wa Hut”, “Motor pool” and others. 

Robert was the creator and owner of the Relativity Media Laboratory off Broadway Theater in New York City, winning several Obie off Broadway theater  awards for original productions ( including the first performances of Irene Forne’s “Fefu and Her Friends”) 

Currently in addition to writing and artwork he is the National Director of “Special Employment Services, Inc, a Nevada 501©3 non-profit agency providing services to disabled communities in Nevada, Utah and Florida. 

He is also the director of “Bobs Art and Antiques” an Etsy store presenting one of a kind, hard to find, unusual artworks as well as the R. Saunders art and antique gallery in St. George, UT.
