She Never Understood
She just never understood,
That the dark side was not
Just the far side, of the moon,
But my heart humming a sly tune.
She did not realize the smiles
Were just the prelude to the
Sun setting and the rising moons
Dark dreams and dark beguiling.
She thought somehow, that the leather
Straps and toys, were not to whip her,
Or please her, force her, or tease her,
Or to make her whimper on this night.
When she swooned and found herself
Bound, stretched out and lonely
In the sea of my dark desire,
She surprised me by smiling,
And turning myself centered
Arrogant smirk, into a frown
Realizing that she was more beguiling
Than I ever realized, more ingenious
More clever and more profound.
She whispered, do it now my darling,
Whip me, teach me, I’ll love the sound
of me begging, helpless, on the ground.
I knew that I had been tricked,
Lured into her fantasy,
That I mistook for my own.
I had to stop and mock myself
For being in reality so innocent,
So foolish and such a boor.
I succumbed to her command, to whip humbly,
As she came and came more and more.
